Weekly Drill

This a great conditioning drill. Players start in corner and must sprint full speed to far blue line and then pivot and skate backwards (moderate pace), pivot around cone and again sprint full speed to next cone. Repeat drill around all cones. Players should do 3 to 5 reiterations of drill. Coach to watch at far side to make sure players still skating hard when they reach last cones. Have a water break afterwards.
